Granit Xhaka’s antics have been the main talking point after Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday. The Swiss international’s reaction to the fans booing him added fuel to the fire and some supporters have turned against him.
Arsenal dropped points yet again in the Premier League and Unai Emery returned to the firing line. The manager’s questionable decisions have caused a huge division in Arsenal’s fan base with most supporters calling for a change.
The decision to name Xhaka as the captain is being questioned once again. Emery well and truly is the villain now and the onus is on him to turn around soon.
Dani Ceballos took to Twitter after the game against Palace and called for togetherness during this tough period. The Spaniard highlighted the two key ingredients that are essential for Arsenal’s success – Unity and teamwork.
🔴⚪️To be united is the start; to keep united is a progress; but to work together and united, will lead us to success. Let´s go boys! Together we can make it!🤝⚽️🤝@Arsenal #PremierLeague #Gunners #Togheter #WeCan #KeepUnited #Team #Ceballos8 #Ceballos pic.twitter.com/St0uPqgExg

The division between the fans has created a toxic atmosphere in and around the Emirates. The supporters’ action in the stadium as well as on social media affects the players mentally and it’s high time that they realise it.
Arsenal fans have to back the team through thick and thin to give players the maximum confidence to go out and perform. An Arsenal side full of confidence has the ability to beat any team on their day and it is the fans’ responsibility to help them reach that level.
